General Membership Meetings

The monthly meetings of Local 632 for the foreseeable future will take place on either the 1st or 2nd Monday of the month, unless otherwise notified. Starting in Sept 2013 meetings will be held at the union office.
* Meetings are generally suspended during the months of July and August.

Executive Board

The Executive Board usually meets two hours before each General Membership Meeting on the first Monday of the month at 5:00 pm.

Membership Stamps

The quarterly stamp starting with the First qt. 2020 have increased to $85.00 per quarter or $340.00 for the entire year. Late fines have remained at $100.00 per assessment. Quarterly stamps are always due at the beginning of the quarter and become delinquent at the end of that quarter.

What’s New

Please make it a point to pay timely to avoid late fines, suspension of your membership and/or possible expulsion. As always, remit your current membership card with all payments to ensure your quarterly stamps are properly affixed. Should you need an annual travel/road card, you MUST pay for the full year and request such in writing.

New Applicants

Applications for new membership must request such in person from the Executive Board at the monthly meetings in April or September. (Please inquire as to new membership requirements.)

National Benefit Funds

The IATSE National Benefit Funds are trust funds established by the IATSE through collective bargaining with various entertainment industry employers.

Generally, funding comes from contributing employers that are engaged in industries such as live theatre, motion picture, television, commercials, music videos, and trade shows and that have Collective Bargaining Agreements with IATSE or an affiliated local union.

The Funds are governed by Boards of Trustees made up of an equal number of representatives of the IATSE (labor) and the employers (management). The IATSE National Benefit Funds include the Pension, Annuity, Health & Welfare, Vacation and 401(k) Funds. For more information about the National Benefit Funds, please visit www.iatsenbf.org.

Union Plus Mortgage

“If you’re union, we’ve got your mortgage.” Union Plus Mortgage is available only to union members, thier parents or children, and it offers $495 in savings on closing costs for either new purchases or refinancing. Under the plan, first-time homebuyyers can apply for a $400 Union plus “Welcome to Your First Home Award.” The Union Plus Mortgage Protection Program offers assistance in the form of interest-free loans and grants to help with mortgage payments if participants become unemployed, are on strike or locked out, or become disabled.
